Who publishes and who to contact
Summit National Energy publishes the guide library. Randal Ellison, owner and Vice President of Sales, is the company’s editorial contact. Company authorship does not imply review by a licensed engineer, contractor or independent laboratory.
We use drafting and calculation tools to organize material. Tool output is not itself evidence. The pages are checked against the source documents, arithmetic and limitations identified in our editorial notes before release.
Four different kinds of information
- Published technical facts
- Manufacturer, regulator and consumer-protection references are linked where they support a claim. The source’s scope matters; one utility’s rule is not automatically another utility’s rule.
- Historical source excerpts
- A historical proposal can demonstrate what a document contains. We remove identifying information and do not treat its forecast as measured performance, its equipment as a current recommendation or its prices as today’s offer.
- Illustrative calculations
- Invented inputs are labeled visibly. The examples demonstrate arithmetic, not a customer result, actual appliance rating, price quote or system design.
- Interpretation and unresolved questions
- We explain what a source does not establish and which additional information a qualified project reviewer needs. An unanswered question is not automatically a defect in the original proposal.
What a publication date means
Publication and material-update dates describe changes to the article. They are not a statement that equipment availability, tariffs or program eligibility will remain unchanged. We revisit a guide when a cited rule changes, a correction is substantiated or new material changes its decision value.
There is no claim of continuous monitoring or an independent licensed technical review of every guide. Confirm current project requirements with the responsible utility, manufacturer and qualified professionals before acting.
Corrections and customer privacy
Use the website inquiry form to identify a page, the statement in question and a supporting source. We review substantive corrections and change the page when the evidence warrants it. An inquiry is not a guarantee of a particular revision.
Public education does not require a customer’s address, bill, account number or private contact information. We do not publish original customer files as proof. Case-specific customer quotations, photographs and identifiable outcomes require appropriate public-use permission.
