FOR BUSINESSES AND PROPERTY OWNERS

Is solar a sound investment for your property?

Start with a review of your electricity use, site constraints and business goals. Summit National Energy helps identify whether a full solar or storage proposal is worth pursuing, and what needs to be confirmed first.

WHAT THE REVIEW COVERS

The building matters.
So does the business behind it.

For owners and authorized representatives evaluating offices, retail, industrial or multifamily properties. Suitability and service availability are checked per project.

  1. Energy and costs

Usage, rate structure, operating hours and any available interval data. We identify missing information before modeling project economics.

  2. Site and ownership

Roof condition, usable space, electrical service and who can authorize work. Physical conditions require site confirmation.

  3. Investment and resilience

Your budget priorities, time horizon and essential loads. Storage is evaluated against a specific job, not assumed to be necessary.

A useful review can identify a reason to wait. Roof replacement, a short lease, missing owner approval or utility constraints can change whether a project is worth developing. We identify those questions before asking you to consider a contract.

HOW THE REVIEW RUNS

From first inquiry to an informed decision.

What happens next

  • Introduce the property. Share its type, city, your role and the goal. No documents are required for the initial inquiry.
  • Fill the information gaps. We reply by email to confirm fit and request relevant bills, usage history or site information.
  • Review the findings. Once sufficient information is available, receive a written next-step recommendation. Scope and any further work are agreed before proceeding.

What stays subject to review

  • Program and interconnection eligibility for your utility and site.
  • Structural, roofing, and electrical conditions confirmed on site.
  • Final scope, equipment, pricing, and the installing contractor, in a written contract.

Before you start

Can a tenant or property manager inquire?

Yes. Tell us your role and whether the owner is involved. A project needs the appropriate property authority and agreements before it can proceed. An inquiry does not establish approval to alter the property.

Can you quote a price or payback from monthly spend alone?

Not reliably. Usage history, tariff, operating pattern, design, installation scope and applicable costs affect the result. An initial spend estimate helps frame the conversation; it is not enough for a binding price or a savings promise.

Will a battery keep the whole building running?

Not automatically. Define the essential loads, power requirements and desired outage duration first. The eventual design must confirm what can be supported and under which conditions.

Who installs the project, and what will it cost to proceed?

Summit National coordinates the review with the appropriate installation partners. Commercial service, equipment and program eligibility are confirmed per project; residential offers do not automatically apply. The written proposal or agreement identifies the contractor, scope, price, payment terms and warranties. The initial inquiry requires no payment and commits you to no further work.

THE NEXT STEP

Tell us about the property.
We’ll identify the next step.

You do not need a finished design or every bill in hand. Your first reply will explain what information is needed to move the evaluation forward.
